My name is Jill Rogers, and I began my official work with words in book publishing 20+ years ago. As managing editor, I worked closely with a variety of authors—first-timers to veterans—helping them develop their ideas, editing their work, and chaperoning their manuscripts through the publishing process from original submission to finished book.
I now specialize copyediting and proofreading nonfiction books that inspire readers to expand their thinking and worldview and to consider where they came from, where they’re going, and how they can improve their journey along the way. The authors of these books are people who live and breathe their work in the fields of spirituality, philosophy, psychology, mind-body wellness, self-empowerment, and social justice.
While many of my clients are publishers, I also work with individual authors to help them polish their final manuscripts and fine-tune their final proofs before they launch their books into the world.
